Rocks!!!

This little cutie has started picking out her own bow each morning.  This particular morning, she insisted on the adorable strawberry bow that Lindsay gave me at her baby shower.  I usually give her two options that both match her outfit, but I figured maybe fruit matches anything!?

That evening, we decided to go to the pool to cool off.  Here is Emalyn in her Puddle Jumper!!!!  I know it doesn't look like much, but let me tell you... This child has screamed so hard every other time I have tried to put it on her that other parents probably thought I was beating her!  Cy and Presley had theirs on, so as soon as we got there I started talking about how great they were doing in theirs and sure enough, emalyn slipped her arms through and walked around the baby pool for 30 minutes in her floatie!

Emalyn has learned what daddy does and will tell you he is a doctor (ill try and post a video).  Lets just say, she was taking this 'ear checking' business very seriously!

On Friday of last week, we went to Open Gym.  Oh my, did Emalyn have fun!  The Oler boys had their birthday party at a gym in April, but Emalyn wasn't too steady on her feet and we haven't been again since.  She absolutely went crazy!  She kept crawling down into the foam pit... Not something I expected!

She wasn't able to bounce herself much, but she loved getting knocked over and bounced by other kids! Again.... Not what I was expecting!

Open gym was over, so I told Em I would rock her on this for 1 minute and we were going to have to leave... About 5 seconds after this picture she had a total melt down because she didn't want to leave! :). I'm just so glad she had so much fun and she was so independent!

I'm sure I will mention this several times in the near future, because she is OBSESSED... Emalyn had figured out how to climb onto our bed using the stools at the bottom and she wants to sit up there all day!  

Daddy came home Friday night and made a fort with Emalyn! :). She is really into hiding these days.

Daddy let emalyn play in the sprinkler while mommy went to a work out class.  Afterwards, he mowed the lawn...

Emalyn tried to help, but she pooped out!  That's hard work dad!

We had a really fun, super hot week! :)
