Daddy and Emalyn having some coloring time on the kitchen floor. She is really big on mimicking what we do in case you can't tell!

This picture is a big big deal to mommy... This is the first time Emalyn cleaned her plate of food that I made... We have an extremely picky eater on our hands and most nights (that I cook a meal for Craig and I, I put it on her plate and very quickly have to move to my back up staples, but tonight, she are what we ate! I was much more excited at the time because this hasn't happened much since then, but I am still very proud of our little picky monster!

And had lunch in downtown Belton before Christie had to head back to San Antonio. Emalyn was being super goofy!

They were kind of attacking us so we basically threw the duck food (yes duck food... They have one of those quarter vending things with what looks like dog food in it) and we ran!

Little miss is really starting to enjoy reading to herself... And she doesn't just look... She talks and talks and talks as she sits there and reads. So sweet.

Love applesauce these days!
That weekend we went out on the boat on Sunday afternoon with the Medlins, some new friends who have a 6 year old daughter and 2 year old son. We had just bought a new tube so we blew it up to try it out!

Ty and Blake. Let me just tell you... Blake is only a few months older than emalyn and such a fish and dare devil! We are trying to get emalyn to learn a thing or two about enjoying the water!

So... Emalyn watched the other two tube and when i asked if she wanted to go she said yes! So I got her on there as quickly as possible so she couldn't change her mind!

She LOVED it! She basically giggled and said 'weeeee' the whole time! I had to finally call it quits and she wanted to keep going!

Last week, our Sunday school had a play group at Lisa's Dance Studio. She had a blast! Huge age range of kids, but Lisa did such a great job including them all.

They were singing a song and moving throughout the room... The first 'step' they were supposed to do was stomping. Emalyn concentrated really hard, finally got it down, and stomped through the whole song moving wherever she wanted while the other kids continued to follow Mrs. Lisa :)
