Thanksgiving Travels

Craig took his Step 3 Board exams on Monday and Tuesday of Thanksgiving week and took off the rest of the week, so we were fortunate enough to visit both sides of the family for the holiday!  We drove to Columbus on Wednesday morning and celebrated Thanksgiving with the family, Papaw Lesikar, and Granny and Papaw Lilie.

Emalyn and Papaw enjoyed some food down at the end of the table.

Papaw Lilie made the sweetest benches for Emalyn and Addison and gave them to them on Thanksgiving.  Emalyn uses hers 10 times a day.  She absolutely loves having something her size, especially made by someone so special.  Thank you Papaw!

Emalyn had to show Addison how to use the table she is going to borrow... one of Emalyn's favorite toys of all times!  Addison, however, is a bit further ahead in her motor abilities and is ready for it a little earlier than my short little sitter was!

Lots of attempts, but we did get a couple decent ones after Emalyn's fit!

Friday morning we drove to Castroville and spent the day hanging out with the family!

We (and the only thing I did was hold the strands from the ground) helped hang Christmas lights on the houses out at the ranch and just hung out!

The guys went hunting and Emalyn went along to supervise feeding the deer.

And we got to visit with Grandmommy and Grandaddy before we headed back to Temple!  Such a wonderful Thanksgiving with so much to be thankful... 9 great grandparents and 4 grandparents for our sweet girl just one of many!

Happy Thanksgiving!
